Afran Nisho’s Sharey Showlo (16.5) Promises New Hit

Sharey Showlo (16.5) has teased us of a fascinating crime-thriller murder mystery with its goosebump-creating trailer. After a few weeks of the blockbuster ‘Surongo’ release, Afran Nisho returns with the badass character Ashfaque Reza in the upcoming web series. Now, the trailer has become the talk of the town upon release and we surely can expect another amazing series in Hoichoi!  

Bangladeshi web series and movies are receiving increased attention, and it’s not hard to understand why. The upcoming web series ‘Sharey Showlo’ is a prime example of this trend. The trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse of the high-quality story, visuals, actors, and cinematography that viewers can expect. On August 5, 2023, Hoichoi Bangladesh released the trailer for their new web series called “Sharey Showlo”. The 2-minute and 42-second trailer was uploaded to YouTube and gained a lot of attention from fans in Bangladesh and Kolkata. The series, directed by Yasir Al Haque and produced by Ali Afzal Uzzal, is scheduled to be released on August 17th on the popular OTT platform, Hoichoi Bangladesh.

The upcoming web series Sharey Showlo will showcase the exceptional acting skills of Afran Nisho, who will be portraying the role of a highly accomplished lawyer named Reza. Nisho has successfully transformed himself to convincingly embody the persona of Reza, who is renowned for handling complex legal cases for a leading real estate firm. Zakia Bari Mamo is going to act as Rini. Zakia Bari Mamo, a Bangladeshi actress and model, gained recognition after winning the Lux Channel I Superstar beauty pageant in 2006. She made her debut in the film industry with Daruchini Dip in 2007, which earned her the Best Actress award at the 32nd Bangladesh National Film Awards. She later appeared in Prem Korbo Tomar Sathe in 2014 and Chuye Dile Mon in 2015.

The highly anticipated series boasts an exceptional cast, featuring the likes of Imtiaz Barshon as the talented Altaf, Afia Tabassum Borno as the captivating Natasha, and Kazi Nawshaba Ahmed as the alluring Ayesha, Md. Irfan Uddin Chowdhury as the enigmatic Shafiq, and Shahed Ali as the intriguing Gaffar.

Into The Fraction Number Of “Sharey Showlo (16.5)”!

From watching the trailer of Sharey Showlo, it’s easy to guess that Afran Nisho will be playing a successful lawyer in the upcoming series. He was getting ready for a special court hearing but things took a strange turn on the night before. Nisho’s character is accused of committing a murder on the luxurious 16.5th floor of the “Violet Inn”, but the situation is not what it appears to be.

Another character is suddenly murdered and the blame falls on the main lead, but the mystery surrounding the murder remains unsolved as the story unfolds. The story will progress through this point in the series. The trailer of Sharey Showlo revealed a lot of plot points through this. However, since the production team dared to do this, they must have many other plot points and several twists up their sleeves. So, Sharey Showlo most definitely promises to be a most entertaining watch.

In an interview with The Daily Star, Nisho said, “Reza is an intelligent and successful lawyer, yet a flawed human being who is cunning, yet also a family man. This is a character that greatly appealed to me and I am eagerly waiting for the audience’s reaction to see me as Reza.”

He also added, “Yasir is a young, talented and promising director who is starting his career off with a great deal of potential. He is a man of sound mind and very dedicated to his craft. In fact, the entire ‘Sharey Showlo’ team was simply superb to work with and I wish them the best of luck!”

During a talk with UNB recently, Zakia Bari Mamo said, “Sharey Showlo is a complex and beautiful story. The series is full of suspense. I am thankful to the entire team of the series. Because when I read the script, I was even confused many times and while shooting as well. But I had faith in the director and in the end, he proved his talent (Munsiana).”

Guessing from her words, Sharey Showlo is sure to be one good twist in the tail type of series and hopefully, it won’t disappoint the audiences who are hoping to see some good thriller and suspenseful story from the production house Sensemakers. But to know more about the series, we still have to wait for 17^th August 2023. 

The Trend Of High-Quality Series And Movies In Bangladesh

Do you remember the days when most Bangla movies or series used to be nothing but not-so-flashy action with a below-average storyline? Also, in other movies where just during a random scene in the middle of the movie where everything is going smoothly, but all of a sudden, an item song and dance comes out of nowhere illogically and ruins the flow of the movie.

Most of our creators of movies were so focused on following the Bollywood type of touch (Where a random item song and dance is a must), they lost their uniqueness and originality in making quality works. Also, the depthless Natoks that we were used to that didn’t have any potent storyline, good cinematography, and convincing acting. The days of these subpar projects are slowly getting numbered as audiences want more diverse and original work.

Lately, there has been a shift in the entertainment industry as directors and producers have realized that audiences prefer a well-crafted storyline over a dull plot. This has led to the creation of successful movies like Mohanagar, Taqdeer, Karagar, Myself Allen Swapan, and many others. These works are captivating, and exciting, and have been able to attract viewers, even in West Bengal, India. Sharey Showlo by the looks of it has what it takes to make that elite list.

The inclusion of talented young actors and actresses also contributes to the success of these projects. Also, the prominent actors can give their best performances in these projects making them more appealing to the audience. If they continue to produce high-quality content like this, Bangladeshi films and web series will undoubtedly make great strides in the industry.
