Deadpool 3 is in the works! Directed by Shawn Levy the Walt Disney Studios film is promising to be full of surprises. Among them, the biggest and most shocking one being the appearance of Wolverine. Now, for the fans of Deadpool, it is welcome news with Deadpool 3 seemingly being filmed!
We are very familiar with the same old foul-mouthed, raunchy sense of humor hero Deadpool AKA Ryan Reynolds. But can you imagine the same old Deadpool logo getting slashed with the iconic Wolverine slash?! No need to imagine anymore because it is soon going to be a real thing! Yep! Wolverine is set to appear on Deadpool 3 and it’s confirmed!
How It All Started?
We were having rumors for a long time that Wolverine might be appearing in Deadpool 3 at some point and Deadpool appearing in MCU. But we were not sure if it will be a real thing or just a vague hope!
Ryan Reynolds recently posted a YouTube video where he expressed regret for not being able to attend the D23 EXPO. He stated that he and his team are currently occupied with the next big project, which happens to be the Deadpool film. Additionally, he was spotted wearing a grey and black X-Force suit from the comics, which is quite popular among fans who have read the comics.
During the video, Reynolds discusses a variety of topics that aren’t particularly attention-grabbing, except for one moment. Hugh Jackman casually walks behind him out of nowhere, as if nothing is happening. It all occurs so fast, it’s hard to believe.
Reynolds then poses the question, “Hey Hugh, do you want to play Wolverine one more time?” To which Jackman responds, “I will always love you.” The teaser concludes with the Deadpool logo featuring the Wolverine slash. It’s now clear that Wolverine will be making an appearance in Deadpool 3!
Isn’t Wolverine Dead?
The current status of Wolverine’s character remains a mystery. After his appearance in Deadpool 3 was revealed, another video surfaced featuring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman on a couch, playfully hinting at what’s to come. Fans of the franchise will recall that Wolverine met his demise in Logan. The question now is how will he be resurrected for future storylines!
Well, that thing was also going to be answered in the updated video but that was interrupted by the classic WHAM! Song in the background and the viewers couldn’t know about it. Quite the teasing experience not gonna lie. But there could be possibilities that this Wolverine appearing in the film might be a version of him from the multiverse.
Deadpool VS Wolverine?!!
Lately, there have been some captivating on-set photographs and battle scenes circulating online from the highly-anticipated Deadpool 3 movie, courtesy of The Daily Mail. These exclusive images showcase both Deadpool and Wolverine in full regalia, ready for some serious action.
Fans are already buzzing with excitement over the film’s forthcoming release, particularly due to Wolverine’s updated attire, which is said to be more accurate to the original comic book design. Such a reveal leaves one pondering as to what other thrilling surprises the film has in store for its eager audience.
We could see in an image of Wolverine fighting with Deadpool in a set. But the location of the fighting place is uncertain, but many are assuming that the fight is taking place in the VOID. And the fight is taking place outside a giant crumbling 20th Century Fox logo. Deadpool is already breaking the fourth wall guys!
Will Deadpool 3 Be Rated R?
The previous films were rated R with dialogues and actions. That being said, making the film rated R is an obvious thing for a Deadpool film. But fans are still wanting to know if that is going to remain or change. Bob Iger, the former CEO of the Walt Disney Company, and Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, have both confirmed that the third film will be R-rated. This suggests that the movie will include violent scenes and explicit language.
Even though Deadpool 3 is possibly going to be rated R it will definitely be a highly enjoyable watch. We have seen the previous two films being jampacked with violence and ‘Beep’ inducing language but still the audience enjoyed every bit of it. Perhaps, vulgarity can sometimes be the course of action for inducing enjoyment!
Is Deadpool 3 Taking Place In MCU?
As you guys have already seen the big-name Kevin Feige in the previous para, you can already guess it by now. Yes! Deadpool 3 is going to take place in the long-awaited MCU!
As Disney already bought 21st Century Fox for a whopping $71.3 billion, we can definitely hope for a 20th-century timeline crossing over with the MCU timeline. Is Deadpool going to appear in future MCU films after Deadpool 3 revelations? Time will tell!
Cast Of Deadpool 3
Rumors are circulating that the highly anticipated Deadpool 3, which already boasts Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, will feature an array of surprise characters. Among them are Halle Berry, who may be reprising her beloved role as Storm, and Patrick Stewart, who has already made a cameo in Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness as Professor X. Ben Affleck, who previously played Daredevil, is also rumored to be returning to the screen.
Furthermore, Owen Wilson has been recently spotted in London where Deadpool 3 is currently filming, fueling speculation that he may be playing Agent Mobius once again. Finally, fans are eagerly anticipating the potential appearances of Channing Tatum as Gambit and Matthew Macfadyen as Paradox, a working agent for the TVA.
