5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs

‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ is the ‘Top 5’ feature topic of this time. Well, a ‘Top 5’ article on BTS is long overdue if you ask me. We have had the top 5 features on Anime, Isekai Anime, Romance Anime, K-Drama, Romance K-Drama, and many more topics. Only the K-Pop segment was missing so far. And, what better topic is there other than the most successful K-Pop group BTS and the list feature of ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’!

Everyone has heard of BTS, it’s just chances are you either like them or you don’t. You might also think like me and say well I used to like that but slowly got bored of it all. The boy band BTS has been active since 2013 and lucky enough I got to see them debut in pretty sick songs from the year after in 2014. Popular shows in Korea like the After School Club have also actively helped them to gain close to their foreign fans during their start and we all know now that is going!

BTS & K-Pop

BTS is the only Korean Boy Band that is recognized by all globally. That is the sole reason for Deshi Geek to start the K-Pop segment with the ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ list. The other bands weren’t fortunate enough to compare despite their awesome releases. The group is also gaining such popularity that the whole ‘stay away from controversy’ mentality that Korean idols had, doesn’t seem to affect them anymore.

They embraced the attitude of ‘with fame comes negativity’ as they are going by their lives now doing as they please. The shackles the Korean Entertainment Industry nuances once had on them were removed from them by reaching such height. But was it for the better? Well, I’ll let you be the judge of it. I am here as a semi fan, I am not obsessed over BTS, however, I’m not a new listener either and have been listening to them knowing them as Bangtan Boys.

Recently, their music has had the same soft melodic lover boy tune that is doing a bad job at representing something new on the table and this is what made me grow bored of their songs, but this wasn’t the case back in time when they were competing head-on with the band Exo (now disbanded) in making music more unique and enjoyable. With that in mind, I have come up with this list of ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’.

5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs That Had The World Humming & Dancing

No More Dream: Ironic how this song is their very first but dreams started straight on from here. This song is also the very reflection of what BTS or just about every K-pop group was like. They had an edgy style and you’ll find them being introduced in the song with their pen names or idol signatures. It was released in their debut album “2 Cool 4 Skool” and the music video had the same theme. This track takes the fifth spot on my ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ list.

Dope: Released in April of 2015, this song was the very reason for their sudden growth in popularity and took the fourth spot on the ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ list. Dope is a song all about who you want to be and who you can be if you give your all. It is included in a very precious album as well having the sweetest name “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever”.

Fire: The next spot of the ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ goes to Fire! Released in year 2016, this song is the opposite of Dope because it tells you to let loose. The common be yourself because the haters will hate is still there but the initial advice is not to get caught up in the strings of the busy world. This song has a great catchy beat to it while empowering even the ones who feel beaten up.

Blood Sweat and Tears: Also coming in 2016 during October, this was a song that was known to everyone. Whether they be K-Pop fans, BTS fans or general music lovers, whether they understood what “Mani mani mani” actually was or mistaking it for money, everyone was singing this song! It isn’t a devil’s chant though it appeared to be. It takes second place on the ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ list.

It was just a mysterious take that was super rhythmic to our minds. It was “The” song to dance to for many at our school parties or the song to rap fast to and brag about. The story of this song goes quite deeper and for the sake of keeping the mystery intact, none of the theories have actually been accepted as true, leaving open ground for you to listen to and come up with your own.

There’s a lot to dig up in this song and there were tons of easter eggs for those who practice literature. Many think the story revolves around only one member while the others observe as we find RM reading a paragraph of “Demian” by Herman Hesse near the end of the MV but upon looking carefully we can see even at the very beginning.

Jin looks at the Bruegel painting The Fall of the Rebel Angels and Jungkook dangling on the swing with The Lament of Icarus by Herbert James Draper behind him. J-Hope is seen standing behind Michelangelo’s Pieta and V is sitting in front of the Landscape with the Fall of Icarus, also by Bruegel so in one way or another all are connected.

Butter: A rather recent release by BTS compared to the previous songs, this song will get you all grooving from start to finish. The amazing song itself is the reason why it will come before ‘Dynamite’ or ‘We Don’t Need Permission to Dance’ on your playlist and it took the first spot on the ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ list. The song isn’t a part of an album but a single released in the year 2021.

5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs Selection Reasons

Might come as a shocker for the new fans to see them in such delinquent attire since recently they have just been in shirts and suits but definitely something worth trying to learn a bit more of their origin. No More Dream is also a great hit of its time and we get to see them with their humble intentions. So, it deserves the fifth spot on the ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ list.

The lyrics of Dope give justice to the album but it’s not a soft song that will touch your heart but it is also a song that will make it dance. Having a rocky beat to it, the song makes you feel young and energized as if anything is possible for you to achieve if you try. It also screams uniqueness above all. There should be no doubt as to why it is on the list of ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’.

Fire starts right off with the main chorus and it is also the start of BTS songs becoming more colorful and fun. That is why it took third spot on the ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ list. The lyrics talk about our young rebellious time when we act stupid on our intrusive thoughts and laugh about it at the end. The MV of Fire is electrifying and will make you dance following the steps.

Blood Sweat and Tears is from the album Wings but it claims to talk about something that’s not so free but rather trapped. The idols say it is about us being confined to lust or earthly pleasures that we just can’t seem to avoid which causes our demise. This age-old human desire depicted through the most genius creative touch helped this song get second place on my ‘5 Best Electrifying BTS Songs’ list.

Butter can live rent-free on your mind even in serious moments and you just need to listen to it once to be certain of it. You will also find it unique because it’s all in English and it gives you the same energy that you felt during the FIFA WC while listening to “Dreamers” also by one of their members. This song is electrifying enough to get the whole party dancing and is also a better example of how BTS actually was.
